You can now sell your gently used prams, breast pumps, bassinets and more on consignment with us!
From initial enquiries, any product questions & potential buyer inspections, Motherkin will handle it all 🙃 so say goodbye 👋 to clutter and the hassle of Marketplace and hello to cash with our new consignment program!

Inclusions
- All consignment item spaces are for a 2 week period & your item will be on display in store & online. (Please note some larger consignment items will be displayed in our outdoor undercover space)- Consignment item/s are uploaded to our website for the duration of the hire period including an item description & its specifications.
- A Social media story will be posted to our Facebook & Instagram pages at the commencement of your hire period.
- At the start of the second week (if item has not sold prior) a 2nd social media story will be posted again on both pages.
(For reference your item will be promoted to our active community of over 6000 social media followers ensuring maximum exposure😌)
Commission
Motherkin will hold a 25% commission of the final sale price of the item.
How it works:
- Prior to making a booking, Motherkin requests for pictures to be sent through including item information (model, brand, year purchased) & how much you wish to sell the item for. Items MUST be in Excellent/Good used condition. Items must show Brand/Model Number/Original Care Labels to be attached. Please include these in pictures that are sent to Motherkin.
- Please note not all items will be suitable/accepted for sale in Motherkin. Acceptance of the item will be needed before the booking is confirmed.
- A seller waiver form is required to be completed by the customer prior to the start date of the hire & returned to Motherkin for review.
- Motherkin is required to perform a basic safety check over at the time the item is dropped off. If anything is found to not be in working order or its condition is not as initially described the item cannot be consigned with us.
- Consignment items can be dropped off at 3.30pm the day before or from 9am the morning of consignment period commencing.
- If the item does not sell during the hire period, it must be collected between 3pm - 4pm on the final day. We kindly ask that pick up is made promptly that day as there is no storage space available at Motherkin.
Payment of sales
Motherkin keeps a 25% commission from the total sales amount. This will be deducted prior to transfer of sale funds. Payment of the sale will be made within 3 business days after the sale.
